Hello Shih Tzu lovers!!!
We love our puppies here at Twana's Pe-Kae Treasures, and want to protect you, the breeder and the puppy. We ask that you give your new baby the same tender lover and care that they received here at Twana's Pe-Kae. We are always here to help answer any questions you have. We want you to be 100% happy and have a wonderful experience with your new treasure.
All puppies are AKC registered. If for some reason the papers on your new baby have not been returned to me by the AKC when it comes time for your puppy to go home with you, I will either forward the papers to you the moment they arrive, or keep the pup until they do. The choice will be yours. (Note: This rarely happens.)

Twana's Pe-Kae Treasures (Twana Blatz) guarantees the above described animal is in good health and free from communicable diseases to the best of our knowledge. An up-to-date copy of the puppy's medical history is enclosed. Puppy is sold as pet quality.

We guarantee the health of this dog for a period of five days from date of purchase for communicable diseases, and up to 2 years of age for life-threatening disease. To maintain this guarantee, puppy must be vet-checked within 72 hours of purchase date. If this puppy is not checked within 1 week of purchase date, this contract is null and void. In the event said puppy has any life-threatening disease, a letter from the examining vet and puppy must be returned to Twana's Pe-Kae Treasures within 1 week of vet exam for exchange of puppy. Failure to provide a letter voids this contract. Twana's Pe-Kae Treasures does not pay for any veterinarian costs or fees. No cash refunds.

Twana's Pe-Kae Treasures assumes no responsibility beyond those stated above. Once puppy leaves our premises, there will be no refunds for change of mind on the buyer's part. We will, however, help you re-place the puppy if it isn't working out. But no refunds will be given.

All deposits are non-refundable. Be sure you want this puppy before you send a deposit. Seller has one year from time of purchase to replace puppy of equal value due to the fact that breeder has a limited number of breeding females.

All puppies are fed a steady diet of 100% love. We ask that you continue this diet after purchase. Thank you so much,

This puppy is guaranteed to be in good health, to the best of our knowledge at the time of sale, and has been vet checked by my own veterinarian. The puppy has been vaccinated and has been wormed.

1. If purchased as a pet, agrees to neuter or spay this puppy between the ages of 6 months and 1 year, and agrees and guarantees that this puppy will not be used for stud or breeding.
2. Limited registration will be given with all puppies unless other arrangements have been made.
3. If at any time the Purchaser can no longer care for the puppy or dog it is to be returned to the Seller.
4. Under no circumstances is this puppy to be sold, leased, or given away to a Pet Store, Laboratory, Research Facility, or Animal Shelter.
5. Upon pickup of puppy, Purchaser has 1 week to have puppy examined by a licensed Veterinarian. If the puppy, in the opinion of the Veterinarian, has any life-threatening disease, the breeder must be contacted with in 1 week of vet visit.
6. This puppy is being fed (Royal Canine Puppy Food =-Pedigree Lamb and Rice puppy canned)
7. I agree not to do a paypal charge back for any reason.
8. Puppy is to be registered using the breeder's kennel name (Twa-Nas Pe-Kae) at the front of puppy's name.
9. No refunds are given for any reasons. Colors can change and sizes are our best estimated guess. We are very firm about the refund policy, so please do not ask to have your money refunded, as it is stated many times in this contract. However I have had very few people ever ask for a refund, as we take pride in producing excellent Shih Tzu.

11. Umbilical Hernias and tight nostrils are very common with the Shih Tzu breed. They are neither life threatening  nor genetic hereditary. Shih Tzu commonly snort, sniffle , snore. A clear discharge is normal, especially when the puppy is teething. Tight nostrils are very common and normally open and correct as your puppy matures. Open Fontanels ( soft spots in the skull) are also common, and close as your puppy matures. It is up to each new pet owner to decide if they would like to fix an umbilical hernia at the time of spay or neuter. I do not cover any type of vet bills, the decision to fix a umbilical hernia is up to the new owner. From time to time a litter does not get the dew claws removed. This however rarely happens. I do the dew claws purely as a courtesy to my valued costumers.
